Let’s Talk About Virginity
I’m so sick of this whole ‘Virginity’ shit that keeps re-occurring every now and then – like it fucking matters. No one gives a shit anymore. And to those who do, wake up and smell the coffee – it doesn’t mean jack shit. People can argue about it until they’re foaming out of their mouths and it still won’t make any difference whatsoever.
“Keep your virginity girls! It’s the only way to keep your dignity in tact!”
“Don’t have sex until you get married, otherwise your husband won’t respect you!!”
Yeah. Like that’s about the only thing that matters from us. God forbid if we lose it – either intentionally or not – we’re finished. Gone. Finite. We mean nothing.
And how fucking convenient is it that men never have to have any issues with it. The more the sleep around, the better it gets. Ever heard of this phrase before? “When a girl sleeps around, she’s a slut. When a guy sleeps around, he’s a stud.”
Well fuck that. Women shouldn’t be robbed off the independence to enjoy sex as much as men do. Fuck religion, fuck tradition and cultural merit and all those fucking bullshit people use to manipulate women just to make sure they stay right where they have been – the lower gender.
Women are doing much better than they were and this so called patriarchal society we’re living in just can’t take it so they have to use this ‘virginity’ crap as their last option to put us down.
Well tough luck, it’s not working anymore.
