Orgasmic Experience

line

Before you start to have dirty thoughts, I am referring to the L’Atelier du Chocolat gift that Ivy gave me as a belated birthday present. The package was so pretty I didn’t want to open it but the temptation was too great that I finally gave in to my desire.

Might I say, the chocolate tasted heavenly, it was almost as good as having multiple orgasms – without having had to work on it, of course.

Then came the t-shirt which I loved. It says “Looking good at 9 am” – I wish that’s how it is in real life but I guess I must precede to the reputation once the t-shirt is worn!

Thank you Ivy for the beautiful presents, they were lovely!

Ivy, Cn and I met up at Plaza Indonesia to have lunch on Saturday. We agreed to eat at Pepper Lunch, a Japanese fast-steak restaurant (I hadn’t been but I’m easy anyway, I eat whatever I want when hungry) and when Cn ordered the beef sukiyaki I promptly asked the same thing, because Ivy recommended it to her. It was really nice, I think I will take beau to eat there when we go to Plaza Indonesia again, which will probably happen in an indefinite time – yes, I don’t go out much so sue me.

We didn’t stay long to chat because the waiters seemed keen to clean our table out (a subtle hint to get rid of us, maybe?) and continued to have coffee at Excelso. This was when things started to get really interesting; Cn was telling us about her experience with the supernatural side when she was celebrating her birthday at Café Pisa.

What happened was, she was taking a photo with two of her friends, but when the photo came out, there were four of them in it – the last one being an unrecognizable person, who was sticking her head out behind them in a candid sort of way. A little investigation was done and Cn even asked the staff whether it was just one of the waiters being funny, but nobody knew anything about the person in the photo.

That was one. The second spooky photo was when she was sitting in front of her birthday cake and there was a person coming up from behind and with the gesture of sticking her hand out as if wanting to congratulate Cn. Again, such person didn’t exist. If I’m not mistaken the photo was even bluetoothed around and she actually gathered all the staff to have a look. Scary shit, no?

Then Ivy started talking about the permanent ghost that resided in her house, and how the ghost wasn’t too happy when the maids started talking loudly that it would make hints such as dropping an object from the corrugated iron stairs nearby, which would make a loud ‘thonk-thonk-thonk!’ sounds and whenever there was a new maid, someone would whisper to her during her sleep and warned her not to make a lot of noise. There was even this one time when the door handle moved by itself and the maids were screaming bloody murder because they were totally freaked out.

I bet by now you’ve stopped thinking about me having an orgasm, have you? Hah!

Hearing Cn and Ivy’s stories gave me a freaking goose bumps as I got scared easily by scary stories like that. I won’t even dare watch horror movies even if my life was depended on it – okay maybe I will but you know what I mean – as I truly detest being freaked out in purpose.

But I’m not exactly a scaredy-cat sort of person though. My house in general is quite dark and scary looking since there aren’t many people living here and we don’t use a lot of lights. There are two empty rooms and one of them is starting to piss me off because the air-conditioner kept turning on by itself, but I’m guessing it’s because someone (probably my aunt and her little brats of hers when they were staying over during the flood) have messed around with the remote control.

Anyway, enough horror for the day, I must say thank you once again to Ivy for the lovely presents – I’m savoring the chocolate and can’t wait for the occasion to wear the t-shirt!

PS: The photos of me and the girls are courtesy of Ivy’s blog, which was taken by Casey – Ivy’s youngest – who I think will be a very talented photographer due to all the practice she’s having!

  1. We have a ghost actually, at my parents’ home in Surabaya. I experienced it a lot when I was watching football at 2am and then suddenly the front door handle started moving on its own and there was nobody outside. But after few times, I sort of got used to it LOL

Yes, that’s what you get when you’ve been accustomed to having permanent ghosts residing at your house :P my friend visited my house and she told me there was someone residing in my very own bedroom, but she said it didn’t have a negative aura – whatever that means – so I was like, shrugging my shoulders and go, “Meh.”

Nope, did not forget about you having an orgasm and I read it twice just to make sure you did not have one!

Ghost stories are always cool. I was once staying in a hotel in Yogya with the better half. And I woke up in the wee hours of the morn and could swear blind that my grandmother was in the room. It gives me goose bumps to this day.

My Nan and I were really close.

BTW…I think the orgasmic experience is just to attract visitors, isn’t it?

    Come on, confess!

Rob, your grandma followed you all the way to Yogya? That is way cool. She must love you a lot!

You mean Orgasmic Experience as the title? Yeah.I just pulled a Rima. See how it increases traffic. Nothing doing, I guess. But for some reason WordPress automatically submits each posting to Technorati thus increasing my ranks without me realising it, lol.

Ghost and orgasm, mmmm I’m too young to talk about that. LOL.

I don’t know, why old hotels always spooky with dim lights. Suddenly a night during my stay, the bed was shaking for couple of seconds and forced me to move the room. That my only experience with one old hotel in Bogor.

I’ve stayed in old hotels plenty of times and yet I haven’t witnessed anything from the supernatural world. I’ve even stayed at this old hospital-cum-guest house when we went for a retreat during junior high school. Nothing happened. But when other class went there the next week, about 12 of the girls got possessed and everything went chaotic. But I don’t think it had anything to do with the place though – they already got possessed previously at school, because they were playing Jalangkung beforehand. Go figure lol

I have always wanted to see a ghost but never have had a chance to see one :) When I lived in school dorm, there were rumors about a headless nun…but again it was not proven. Maybe the ghost just not interested in me eh? :)

I think ghosts aren’t interested in me either. In my mother’s shop, the employees have witnessed being teased by ghosts, and some even told me that they were dragged around during their sleep. But I was often there and stayed as late as 3-4 am. Nothing happened. Maybe ghosts pick the people that they want to look visible to?

No, you absolutely don’t have to lol

If I were you, having a permanent ghost living in MY own house and all, I won’t even dare going to the cinema on my own, watching a horror movie, even!!

There is no such thing as ghosts!!!

why so sensible people suddenly start thinking irrationally…..

    :)

My belief on ghosts stands at 50-50 chance – could be true, or could be just imagination, who knows? I’ve personally never witnessed a supernatural being trying to show its supernatural abilities to me, so I can’t really say much ;)

Ghost? I think I’ve seen one before.. not that scary though.

Yes, that’s me! The one who looks oldest in the photo lol.

You’ve seen a ghost and you’re not scared? Is it a friendly one then?
