I’m listening to Hillsong’s At The Cross, and all of a sudden I’m reminded of the night we met.

Oh, we’ve met months ago, but it was the evening where our souls truly collided – they simply recognized each other.

You found me more than a year ago – I was lost and empty, and I was waiting for an answer.

I had taken too many wrong turns, and I was all beaten up from the game, too tired to try again.

But still…

I wanted so badly for you to come true. I just didn’t know that it was you.

In my heart, I still believed the other half of me was somewhere to be found. That belief is still here, and will always be here.

From the moment you held my hand, we both knew the road we were about to travel wouldn’t always be easy, but we wouldn’t want to have it any other way.

I remember so clearly, the first time you held my hand. It fitted so perfectly in yours, and right then I knew I found my home.

There are times when I lie awake next to you and feel content – I can simply die at that very moment and I will still be happy.

You’ve always said that I was the one who saved you, but we saved each other. We deserved to be saved, to be given the second chance.

You are my miracle, and everyday I am thankful.
