The Santa shot is beautiful...you can give a blur effect if you bring your camera closer to the object. You know one of the most important things in becoming a good photographer, is practice, practice, practice. And practice makes perfect! For a white icing cupcake, next time try to rearrange the other color cupcakes as the background if you want to focus on the white cupcake..so the effect wont be too bright. Thanks for the suggestion El!! I guess the beauty of having a digital camera is that one can practice as many as one likes because if there’s a photo they don’t like, they can just delete it! (and I’ve deleted A LOT, LOL)
