If students realize that their teacher care of them, they will also care of their teachers by showing improvement. But, some don't know it and so do I. Many thinks that teaching is just only a process of transferring knowledge, point. Hence, it's not that simple. It needs passion, compromise,and it's really a tough job. I am honored and flattered to have you in class ASL 57, Mrs. Therry. U care of us, and this is a waking-up-writing for me. Every moisture of yours is a sign of care. We do care of you. I find that the answer lies in the reasons why you teach. If you are in it for the right reasons then, no matter what happens and no matter what types of students you encounter, you will get the rewards and then some that you hoped for. There is also a point where you realise that you help students in different ways, ways that are not always immediately apparent to you or to the student. So, there is no need to get down or frustrated because at some point in time all of us have that "lights on" moment where everything becomes clear. Good luck with the teaching and the additional responsibility! Being a teacher…I am surprised that you let it get you down.

I find that the answer lies in the reasons why you teach. If you are in it for the right reasons then, no matter what happens and no matter what types of students you encounter, you will get the rewards and then some that you hoped for.

The students are very lucky having you as their teacher. Not every teacher is as attached to their students as you. Many do not care that much, many don't have the compassion to push their students to do better, be better.
